Description
Join us for the 6th Annual 1.975 Run!
On Saturday, June 22nd, 2024, the Lambda Theta Alpha Foundation will host our annual 1.975 Run in San Francisco, California. Our theme this year is "Bridge to Brighter Futures" as we continue to work towards the advancement of our community. We would like to invite you all to support the LTA Foundation by registering for the in-person run. If you cannot attend in person, you can also participate in the virtual race where you can run, walk, treadmill, or bike at any time from anywhere. All ages are welcome to participate so bring a friend, significant other, or the whole family to support a good cause! All funds raised will enable us to advance our community via education and natural disaster relief.

Safety
Your safety is our number one priority. Complete the run safely and responsibly. Along the route, we will have volunteers posted to assist you. Do not hesitate to ask them for support. In addition, we will have volunteers completing the run alongside our registrants. They will follow behind the group to ensure everyone is safely moving through the course. If you have any issues and a route guide is not nearby, move toward the back of the group to locate the volunteer for support.
Our run will be 1.975 miles long. You are responsible for your physical well-being. Listen to your body and move at your own pace. We will have water and snacks available so you stay hydrated. We encourage you to check the weather and dress appropriately.
In case of an emergency during the 1.975 Run, contact Alma Sida (262-232-3035).
